I think that I'll call in sick with a sudden case of hopefully temporary Charles Bonnet syndrome.

"Why watch a movie when you can go back to bed, House? You're on the way to a wane period with the vicodin. Build up for it or it's going to kick your ass. Nothing is disappointing in sleep."

"How can anyone sleep with my own personal episode of Three is Company?"

"Sleep? Do I have to spell it out? F-U-N. It's what everyone doesn't want you to have."

"That's because they don't care. It's all that pleasantry still, still. You must be doing something wrong."

"Speaking of wrong, hello, priorities. You do anything else and risk being nonfunctional."

Charles Bonnet syndrome?

New diagnosis. It's a curse.

But for future reference, Charles Bonnet syndrome is when you have a loss or distortion of sight which leads hallucinations. I hit my head, I assumed that after the brief black out this was either a dream or I finally hit the big one. Usually hallucinations that you can only see. This being my life, I figured that I had the exception.
